Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of Bee County Criminal History. Browsing its content, opening a page, or submitting a query means that you accept these terms. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. Bee County Criminal History is privately operated and has no connection to a local, Texas, or federal government body. The site and its advertising partners do not offer a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Its purpose is to identify criminal-record resources for Bee County, Texas. It is neither a private investigation business nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independently operated and unaffiliated with government. It does not maintain official criminal records, submit filings, retrieve records for users, or conduct official background checks.

The content identifies custodians of Bee County criminal records, including the sheriff, criminal courts, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also provide access to third-party research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the site is conditioned on the following limits. You must not:

  • Use the service in violation of federal, Texas, or local law
  • Threaten, stalk, or harass anyone with information found through the site
  • Rely on its content for employment, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into any part of the site's systems
  • Deploy bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools against the pages
  • Disrupt performance or interfere with another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to intimidate, stalk, threaten, harass, or discriminate against another person. Such conduct may also violate the law. This restriction is especially important for Texas Public Sex Offender Registry information. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62 makes registry information available for public protection, not vigilantism, employment blacklisting, housing discrimination, or abuse of a registrant.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Bee County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Its advertising partners and linked tools are not presented as services for evaluating applicants, renters, insurance risk, or credit. You agree that information obtained here will not be used to:

  • Make an employment decision about any person
  • Evaluate a tenant or housing application
  • Set insurance terms or assess creditworthiness
  • Decide eligibility for a permit, license, or government benefit
  • Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A check needed for a regulated purpose must come through the proper Texas Department of Public Safety process or an FCRA-compliant screening company.

5. No Legal Advice

The material is general information, not legal advice. Descriptions of Bee County records cannot determine how a pending charge, warrant, conviction, expunction, or order of nondisclosure applies to an individual matter. Seek advice from an attorney licensed in Texas.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are supplied "as is." No warranty is made that:

  • Information will always be complete, correct, or current
  • Access will remain uninterrupted
  • The pages will contain no defects, errors, or security weaknesses
  • A partner's search results will be accurate or comprehensive

Criminal records can change when charges are filed or dismissed and when courts grant expunction or nondisclosure. Updates may not appear at once, and omissions can occur. Nothing published here is an official statement by a sheriff, court, Texas DPS, or another government agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to sheriff and court resources, Texas agency pages, legal-aid groups, and outside search services. Those destinations are independently controlled. Their availability, content, prices, and data practices are not our responsibility, so review the destination's own terms before proceeding.

8. Intellectual Property

Bee County Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. Copying, altering, distributing, or creating derivative material requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for harm arising from use of the site, including reliance on information obtained here or from a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your use of the site or your breach of these terms, including related costs and legal fees.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from use of the site must be brought in a court located in Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A revision takes effect when the updated text is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be suspended or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in force. The affected language will be limited or revised only as needed to make it enforceable.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be submitted through the Contact page.
